The Band
Fun, loud and in the street! Minor Mishap Marching Band is a 25 piece renegade circus-punk-brass band: Bourbon Street meets Budapest. We are inspired by a love of street music, brass bands, and spectacle, as well as a desire to create community and reinvent public spaces.
Each Spring, members of Minor Mishap Marching Band and other members of our community come together to create Honk!TX HonkTX, a festival of community street bands which will feature twenty community street bands playing free in the streets of Austin.
Anybody out there thinking of booking MMMB for anything at all, you should do it! Post haste. The gang played our wedding and it was the awesomeness that made a truely wonderful day also one of the funnest weddings I’ve ever been too. And it wasn’t just that is was our’s.
Datri and the whole crew are really wonderful souls and awesome musicians as well.

Truly magnificent!
Just went to the Austin Chronicle best of awards at the Bob bullock. As I was walking out to leave I heard this massive gypsy of a band and fell in love. I love that Austin has a gem like this. You guys rock my eastern euro soul…..4 realz
